The Last Gift™ Initiative was created to bring consistent companionship and compassionate presence into care settings—without adding strain to the teams already providing care.
We partner with care providers across Idaho to offer structured volunteer companionship and bedside presence—supporting individuals, families, and care teams without adding extra burden to your team.

We begin with a simple conversation to understand your setting, your residents or clients, and where meaningful support could make the greatest impact.

We work with you to determine the best approach for your setting—whether that’s ongoing companionship, end-of-life presence, or a combination of both.
3. Coordinate
We coordinate volunteers and scheduling in a way that respects your routines, your team, and the needs of those in your care—ensuring everything is handled thoughtfully and without disruption.
4. Support
We remain involved to ensure everything runs smoothly, respectfully, and with consistency—providing ongoing support while requiring minimal time or oversight from your team.

Adopt a Resident
Ongoing companionship for individuals who may be experiencing loneliness or isolation.
Trained volunteers provide consistent visits focused on companionship, conversation, and building meaningful connections over time—while remaining respectful of your environment and routines.
No One Should Die Alone
Compassionate bedside presence during the
final hours or days of life.
Trained volunteers provide calm, supportive presence at
end-of-life—offering comfort, dignity, and reassurance while remaining respectful of your environment, your team, and
the needs of the individual and their family.
Facilities may choose to implement one or both programs,
depending on the needs of their setting.
We are currently in a pilot phase across Idaho, allowing us to
build each partnership with intention and care.
